4th Annual Northern Ag Network “For the Farmers” Tour Heads to Culbertson Aug. 25
Live Voices of Montana broadcast, producer visits, evening social to celebrate Montana agriculture
Culbertson, MT — Northern Ag Network’s fourth annual For the Farmers Tour continues its 2026 celebration of agriculture with a stop in Culbertson on Tuesday, Aug. 25, bringing a day of live broadcasting, producer visits, and community celebration to northeastern Montana.
The For the Farmers Tour is an annual recognition by the Northern Ag Network and Montana’s agriculture businesses honoring Montana farmers and ranchers for their contributions to the state’s economy, communities, and way of life.
The Culbertson tour stop will begin with a live, on-site broadcast of radio talk show Voices of Montana, with Tom Schultz from local implement dealer C&B Operations, at 975 John Deere Way, Culbertson. This event will be open to the public. Veteran broadcasters from the Northern Ag Network Colter Brown and Andy Schwab will join Voices of Montana to help highlight the issues affecting Montana producers and the approximate $5 billion annual Montana ag economy.
Voices of Montana is a long-running (25+ years) radio talk show broadcast on twenty-four AM and FM signals statewide and can be heard in Culbertson and surrounding areas over affiliate stations in Glendive (KDZN, 96.5 FM), Plentywood (KATQ, 1070 AM/107.1 FM), and Scobey (KCGM, 95.7 FM).
Local producers, agricultural leaders, and community representatives will be featured guests on the show to provide grassroots insight into the issues impacting farm communities.
Following the morning broadcast, Northern Ag Network staff and tour sponsors will travel throughout the Culbertson area to visit 4-6 local farms and ranch families to highlight their operations through live media reports, and to present appreciation gifts as part of the For the Farmers Tour.
The day will conclude with a public evening social, bringing together area producers, agricultural businesses, and community members to celebrate Montana agriculture.
Culbertson is the third of three communities highlighted by the 2026 For the Farmers Tour. Previous celebrations took place in Great Falls, July 21, and Conrad, July 23.
