Families struggle with so many issues when they have a child being treated for cancer, or other life-altering diseases. Emotions, finances, day-to-day living can all be very challenging when your only real focus is getting a son or daughter to a place of better health and rest.
Click on this special edition of Voices of Montana to hear the story of Aimee Williams, whose daughter was diagnosed with Lymphoma at a young age. There was a good bell-ringing ceremony for Aimee’s daughter a while back, but some hand-wringing moments for the family all along the way. Aimee was helped by a Billings Clinic program, Billings Clinic Kids and the Make March Matter campaign, that provides financial assistance to families like hers. In reality, Aimee was helped by you, too.
Join us as we hear more from Aimee, and Dr. Breanna Breeding, Danielle Campanella, and Bobbie Thurston from Billings Clinic about pediatric healthcare and how you can Make March Matter for a neighbor in need.
Thank you for allowing me, as Anna’s mom, to begin to help others. Some people call this “paying forward” for the help that my daughter and family recieved through the generosity of family, friends, and community during her treatment. I can’t say that though because it lessens the priceless gifts bestowed open us. I’m humbled and happy to help others through hard times. Thank you Voices of Montana and those that have been apart of Anna’s journey!! God Bless!
