With the December 5 COVID-19 vaccine deadline approaching, Montana’s health care facilities could lose their Medicare and Medicaid funding from the CMS if they don’t comply and nurses across the state are ready to let their objections be heard through a 10-city rally this weekend.
Click the podcast to hear Registered Nurse and Big Sky Liberty Alliance Spokesperson Corinne Hammond explain the reasons behind these rallies and what could potentially happen for Montana’s currently understaffed health centers if they were to lose any more workers from this mandate.
I challenge any nurse who is against the vaccine mandate and claims to already be immune because of having already had Covid 19, to get their antibodies tested. They, more than likely, had the alpha variant. The vaccine, according to thousands of scientists, will protect against the newest variants. They are putting their lives in great danger. They can infect others, as a person can be contagious up to 4 days before any symptoms! The majority of people I have talked to in Helena are deeply disappointed that our new Oncologist is against the vaccine for religious reasons. The Pope has OK’d it! Nobody is more pro-life than the Catholic Church. I, as a past Director of Birthright of Helena, agree with the Pope that the good outweighs the bad in the manufacture of the vaccines.
