Rob Natelson returns to Voices of Montana with much to discuss nationally and here in Montana. As one of America’s foremost experts on the Constitution’s original meaning and the state-led amendment process, Natelson provides clarity on complex issues. Nationally, the Supreme Court is weighing a consequential case, Trump v. Slaughter, which could redefine the limits of presidential authority over so-called “independent” federal agencies. Closer to home, Montana is heading toward a pivotal decision in 2030: whether to convene a state constitutional convention. Natelson has begun a new series of writings on the subject for the Mountain States Policy Center, and continues his work as Senior Fellow in Constitutional Jurisprudence for the Independence Institute.
