John Hines, NorthWestern Energy VP of Supply, discusses the newly released and updated Integrated Resource Plan that lays out a vision for energy needs and resources over the next 20 years. It shows some concerns for energy affordability and reliability. Hines addresses that, as well as discusses the benefits of a natural gas plant under construction in Laurel, with construction temporarily halted due to a judge’s climate change ruling.
