Hi-Line Community Comes to the Aid of a Family in Need
This wasn’t just another ordinary harvest season for some families along the western Hi-Line. Instead, the Woodring and Suta families were facing a summer of challenge and heartbreak. Baby Teddy was several weeks premature and then came the tragic loss of beloved farmer and community leader Mark Suta. Yet, this is Montana, where remarkable things can happen. Neighbors showed up, almost immediately. They brought combines, trucks, meals, hard work and, most importantly, friendship. Jim Woodring, Eric Morrisett and Colter Brown share an inspiring story of grief, generosity and the Montana tradition of simply showing up when someone needs you most.
