Fraud Watch Friday: Utility Scams

The winter months are upon us. This year heating costs are up significantly, and scammers will try to take advantage of low income and elderly people on assistance programs.

Utility companies across the country are seeing large increases in Utility Scams, and we’ll raise the red flags on Fraud Watch Friday.

Subject matter expert Jo Dee Black from NorthWestern Energy will join us to talk about the latest scams, and also educate on how public utility assistance programs work.
