Majority Party Hour – New Land Plan & and Facial Recognition Tech

On this week’s “Majority Party Hour,” State Senator Forest Mandeville, a land use planner by trade, will discuss the components of Senate Bill 382, the Montana Land Use Planning Act, a 48-page bill that takes steps toward modernizing Montana’s land use planning procedures.

We’ll also get into the pros and cons of Senate Bill 397, carried by Senate President Pro Tem Ken Bogner, which attempts to create guidelines and restrictions on the government’s use of facial recognition technology.
