Former St. Peter’s Health Oncologist Dr. Tom Weiner has been treating cancer patients in Montana for over 25 years. Once the only cancer doctor within a hundred miles of the Helena hospital where he worked, Dr. Weiner was let go from the cancer treatment center after questions were raised about the doctor’s practices.
Unfortunately, there’s a tragic and cautionary tale to tell here. One that casts blame both near and far across a high-dollar, high-stakes, multi-layered healthcare system that often doesn’t want to admit to its mistakes.
