Educators have a special place in a person’s life. As children, young adults, and often as parents, we interact throughout our lifetime with teachers and educators. Those interactions shape the future. As part of Teacher Appreciation Week, it was an honor to discuss education with Catherine Matthews, a pre-school special education teacher at Hyalite Elementary School in Bozeman, and Montana’s 2023 Teacher of the Year.
