Montana anglers have a chance to help shape the future of fishing in the state. Click on the podcast to find out more as we talk with Greg Lemon and Adam Strainer from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks about the health of Montana’s fisheries and the next round of fishing regulations. We look over the overall condition of fish populations across Montana, including where trout and other species are thriving and where biologists are seeing challenges from drought, warming water, and habitat pressures. And then we turn the attention to the need for public input on 41 proposed changes to the 2027–2028 fishing regulations, and how anglers can weigh in before those rules are finalized.
