The Bureau of Land Management has released a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact for a bison grazing proposal from the American Prairie Reserve (APR) on 69,000 acres of BLM grazing allotments in Phillips County. (See story here at Northern Ag Network.)

Voices of Montana host Tom Schultz spoke with Jay Bodner, Executive Vice President of the Montana Stockgrowers Association about the ranching communities reservations to the decision that moves APR a step closer to its goal of securing more than 3 million acres of mostly public land in Montana for a herd of 10,000 free-roaming bison.
