The Biden administration is pushing a new policy to allow for conservation groups to lockup public land leases for non-use. The plan challenges the established law under the Taylor Grazing Act. Multiple-use land advocates, agriculture interests, and local government officials are mounting a pushback against the Biden proposal.

Vicki Olson, Chair of the Montana Public Lands Council, leads off the conversation and Prairie County Commissioner Todd Devlin, who chairs the National Association of Counties Public Lands Steering Committee, calls-in as he prepares to testify against the new Biden policy at a May 25th hearing in Washington D.C.
