Heather McDowell, Vice President of Legal and External Affairs for  Sibanye Stillwater joined the program to discuss the layoffs, markets, and the future for the Sibanye Stillwater Mine south of Big Timber. It is the United States only platinum and palladium mine. The company gave notice last week that it will lay off around 700 employees in the next 60 days at the facility.
