One of the impacts the COVID-19 pandemic has had on healthcare is that it has “… pushed us two to three years into the future,” according to Richard Miltenberger, CEO of Mountain Health COOP.
Miltenberger was referring to the emergence of tele-medicine, which has proved to be an asset to both the provider and the patient during the pandemic, and likely will help reduce overall healthcare costs going forward.
