Water access is critical across Montana, but the funding for these projects adds up quick and has unfortunately been overlooked in the past. That’s changed recently, however, with $85 million heading to St. Mary’s Diversion Dam, $37 million for the Musselshell-Judith Rural Water System and $7 million for the Fort Peck Reservation’s Dry Prairie Rural Water System.
