Is the upcoming closure of the Sidney Sugars processing plant a sign of an era coming to an end for the sugar industry in the region?
Prairie County Commissioner Dennis Teske, a former sugar beet grower and board member of American Crystal Sugar, talks about the challenges for the sugar beet industry with the announcement of the April closure of Sidney Sugars, the American Crystal Sugar farmer-owned processing facility that had been operating under various owners in eastern Montana for roughly 100 years.

Where is John Tester on this one? I thought he was all about helping Veterans. Lots of veterans losing jobs at RY Timber. But nothing but crickets from Tester.
