Given all the uncertainty and disagreement we find ourselves inundated with in our daily lives, it’s important to remember and acknowledge the things that bring us all together. For many people, sports have been able to do this and this particular story comes to us from a listener, Carole Mackin, and is the true story about a ragtag baseball team from the 1930s that united their community together through their love of the game, despite the hardships they endured during the Great Depression.
