The social media platform TikTok has come under fire for it’s influences on children, and accusations of illegal data collection and spying by China. The federal government, and many states, are proposing bans and other restrictions on the application. Hi-tech and business leaders are voicing concern that an outright ban on TikTok may be a step too far.
