The VA MISSION Act expanded veteran’s access to medical providers and healthcare in their local communities. But the six-year-old program has revealed some deficiencies that hinder it’s effectiveness.
Chris Enget is a combat veteran and a Purple Heart recipient who knows first hand how delayed mental and physical care can impact a veteran’s health. Enget is the Strategic Director for Concerned Veterans For America (CVA) in Montana, which has been advocating for solutions and better accountability within the VA.
